The studio

A boutique organization that says what it has and has not done

DataHarmoni is a sole proprietorship based in New Delhi, India. We build software products and take on engineering work. We keep the team compact so that the person who scopes your work is the person who does it.

What we hold ourselves to

Accessible by default

We build to WCAG 2.2 AA and check our own sites with the same scanner we use on others. Our accessibility statement lists what we have and have not tested.

Plain scope

Every piece of work starts with what we will do, what we will not, and the price, in plain English.

Honest claims

We do not issue certificates, and our reports are not legal advice. If we have not tested something, we say so on the first page.

Polite scanning

Our scanner reads only public pages, respects robots.txt and identifies itself. Read exactly what it does.

How we test a site

This is the path an accessibility readiness audit follows, from a public page to a finding you can act on.

  1. Public pages

We start from pages anyone can open. Nothing behind a login unless you ask.

  2. Polite fetch

Slow, identified requests that respect robots.txt.

  3. Automated checks

An axe-core based scan at desktop and mobile widths.

  4. Manual passes

Keyboard, zoom and reflow checks by hand, where tools cannot judge.

  5. Findings and fixes

Each finding has its WCAG criterion, evidence, the fix and how to verify it.
