Why you got an email from us
A short, plain explanation, and how to make it stop.
Why we wrote to you
We offer accessibility readiness audits and fixes for online stores, including white-label work for agencies. We found your site on the public web and ran a light automated check on a few of its public pages (see the scanner). If we found something worth mentioning, we wrote to the company or role address published on your own site, such as an info@ or hello@ address, and included results from your pages. The email is a commercial message about our services.
Where our emails come from
Our emails are sent from an address at dataharmoni.com or at mail.dataharmoni.in (part of dataharmoni.in). Both belong to us.
How we found your address
From your own public website or public business listing. We do not buy email lists and we do not guess personal addresses. If you want to know the exact page, write to hello@dataharmoni.com and we will tell you.
On what basis
We use this information for direct business outreach on the basis of our legitimate interests, where the law permits it. Some countries require prior consent for unsolicited commercial email; we do not use this outreach process in those countries unless we have an appropriate lawful basis. We currently write only to limited companies and limited liability partnerships in the United Kingdom, and to businesses in the United States.
How to stop further emails
Reply to the email with the word STOP, or write to hello@dataharmoni.com. We add your address, and your company's domain, to a block list the same working day and will not contact you again. We keep only the address or domain, the date and where the request came from, so that we can honour your request.
What we hold, and deleting it
We keep the address we wrote to, the name and role if your site publishes them, where we found the details, the result of the check, and a record of what we sent and any reply. To see what we hold about you, to correct it or to have it deleted, write to hello@dataharmoni.com. We will respond within the period required by the data protection law that applies, and we aim to answer within a week. We delete these records 12 months after our last contact. See the privacy notice for the details.
If you are not happy
Tell us first and we will try to put it right. If you believe our handling of your personal data is unlawful, you may have the right to complain to the supervisory authority responsible for data protection in your country.
