Read this before you buy. Automated tools find only part of the problems a person using assistive technology would meet. The report lists what we found on the pages and paths we tested. It does not list everything that may be wrong. See the full disclaimer.

Which standard we test against

Every report keeps three things apart:

  • Test baseline: WCAG 2.2 AA, which includes 2.1 AA. This is what we test your pages against.
  • Technical reference for the European Accessibility Act: EN 301 549. At the time of writing the reference is v3.2.1, which is based on WCAG 2.1 AA. v4.1.1 adopts WCAG 2.2; it was reported as published on 2 September 2026 and is expected to be cited by the European Commission around November 2026. Each report states the version it uses and the date.
  • Mapping: each finding is mapped to its WCAG criterion and EN 301 549 clause and labelled 2.1 AA (current reference) or 2.2-only (upcoming reference). This is an engineering mapping. It is not a conformity assessment or a legal opinion.

The European Accessibility Act has applied since June 2025 and includes accessibility requirements for certain e-commerce services. Whether a particular business is within scope depends on its circumstances and applicable national rules, and enforcement is by each member state. The Act also contains obligations that a technical test of five templates does not cover. Take your own legal advice on those.
